DJ Craig Heneveld is a Tampa-based dance music DJ and producer. Stemming his love for electronic dance music, and his passion for the progressive jam band scene; DJ Craig Heneveld transcends fluidness with a continuous flow of deep bass and seductive hooks. Influenced by the likes of STS9, The New Deal, LTJ Bukem, and St. Germain he seamlessly branches connections with his audience through the sounds of house, drum & bass, and breakbeats. The original members of Brother Bean came together one summer night in Grant, FL for an all night jam that ushered in the dawn. There was an immediate feeling in the air from the energy created in that first session, and everyone left the next morning dumbfounded by what they had stumbled away from.

Conscious Sound System is an experiment in mixing live music improvisation with DJ Sean Deep’s unique beats and grooves.  The project currently holds four musicians in its’ arsenal and is constantly working and playing with talented friends and family. Since the groups conception CSS has been growing exponentially with the love and support  of a growing fan base of eclectic individuals.

The sound is a culmination of everything from rhythmic drum grooves and electronic beats to jazz, funk, world music fusion with a splash of insanity and a message of positivity. Some of the material is politically and spiritually driven. Some is just fun to dance to. At times the music grasps the power of the soul to move the audience in a powerful and uplifting manner. 

Formed in May 2006, Cypress has a little of everything you'd expect from a great rock band. Creating "down-to-earth songs with original and infectious vibes" (RAG Magazine), Cypress is spreading their roots from Miami to Palm Beach. With influences ranging from 60's Rock & Roll to modern Reggae, Fusion, and Metal, every song takes on its own life and identity becoming a single peice in an ever growing puzzle. Beginning with acoustic campfire jams in Ochopee, FL, and small house parties in Fort Lauderdale, Cypress has matured into a serious electric act branching out to Bars, Clubs, and Festivals all over South Florida and the fanbase just keeps growing. Their mix of Rock, Funk, Reggae, and Jazz lends itself to virtually any ear and their infectious energy will get you out of your seat and dancing till night's end. Stemming from, literally, everywhere musically, the audience finds Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, Punk and R'n'B blurred together. It is a sound that is aggressive, yet enlightened.

Members of this tight and energetic Florida based band have laid stakes all over the world and bring to the party international traditions, rhythms and instruments", Tampa Tribune '07. The Hip Abduction is a culmination of world genres directed toward high energy live performances and tranquil lyricism. The theme derives from singer/songwriter David New and his years spent traveling the Caribbean and South America. Currently in the U.S. but continues to write with his heart in the islands. Depending on the venue, up to 8 members can be on stage during a Hip Abduction event, each following a world, rock, soul, and reggae theme. Heavy emphasis is placed on the unique drumming technique of Pat Hernley who uses a multi-percussion setup including congas, timbales, hand kick, tabla, dholak, and cajon. Tight drumming coupled with a strong melodic groove structure is at the core of each tune. THA draws on the stories of acoustic driven blues, overlays jazz/funk style instrumental melodies, and crafts high-energy festival style free improvisation. Influences include James Brown, Funky Meters, Paul Simon, Dave Matthews, Ray Charles, Reggae, Jazz & Funk, soul music, and world. The roots of their sound and message stem from Laura’s diverse experience of growing up in South Africa and the American South. Formed in the summer of 2006, the band switches up the music between funk, progressive R&B, and pure SOUL behind Laura Reed’s captivating stage presence.

Laura Reed’s tasteful rhythm section, Deep Pocket, consists of Ryan Burns on piano, synth, and Mama Lou (his 1936 model-A Hammond organ). Ben Didelot brings it all together on the low end with his solid bass lines and occasional dance steps. Jimbonk holds down the rhythm on the drum set with an amazing ability to keep the dynamic just right for not only the song but also the energy of the crowd. Debrissa McKinney has been a recent addition to the group, being referred to as the "masta harmoniza”. She elevates the music to the next level of sublime with her positive energy and smooth vocals. You will also catch Deep Pocket with the addition of tasteful guitar by Silas Durocher, the funky Asheville Horns, Soul Revolutionary Sidney Barnes, music master Josh Phillips, and visionary DJ Kurfu. www.laurareed.com
